Reconciliation Week
27 May – 3 June 2025
Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
At our centre, we will be honouring this important week by engaging children in meaningful activities that celebrate and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. Children will take part in experiences such as storytelling, music, art, and language that reflect and honour Aboriginal culture.
This year, we invite everyone to wear yellow throughout the week.
Yellow represents the sun and the land—both essential to life and deeply connected to Aboriginal culture and identity.
Together, let’s walk the path of respect, understanding, and unity.

Eid Il Adha Afternoon Tea
Eid al-Adha is a special celebration for Muslims around the world. It remembers the story of Prophet Ibrahim, who was ready to sacrifice his son to show his obedience to Allah. Instead, Allah provided a ram to be sacrificed.
This holiday also takes place during the Hajj Pilgrimage in Mecca, an important journey that many Muslims try to make at least once in their life.
To mark this occasion, Muslims pray, give to charity, and share meat with family, friends and those in need.
We’d love for you and your family to join us for afternoon tea as we celebrate this meaningful day together!

NAIDOC WEEK Afternoon Tea
6 – 13 July 2025
Please join us for a special Family Afternoon Tea to celebrate NAIDOC Week 2025 – a time to honour and recognise the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of NAIDOC Week, a significant milestone in recognising and celebrating Indigenous voices, cultures, and resilience. The theme for 2025 is “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy”
This theme honours the achievements of the past and looks forward to a bright future, empowered by the strength of young leaders, the vision of communities, and the enduring legacy of ancestors.
Let’s come together as a community to:
Share food, stories, and laughter
Celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture
Promote understanding, respect, and connection
We kindly ask each family to bring a dish to share – a great way to connect and celebrate the diversity of our community.
Whether you’re bringing salad, baklava, curry, or something from your own heritage, your contribution will help make the day special.
We look forward to celebrating with you.
